Wow. I’d thought that Eric Clapton was a jerk for years before, anyway, but reading this one just sort of made my eyes pop a bit. If I were to try and put it into an emoticon, it would be something like this: o_0.
Perhaps it really is time to get rid of all those Cream cd’s.

Perhaps I would be more sympathetic to the outrage that the GOP seems to be showing over Governor Spitzer’s philandery if they had expelled David Vitter from the GOP Caucus and called for his resignation.
Actually, no, I wouldn’t.

In what has to be one of the worse cases of kicking people when their down, Neal Boortz, the right-wing talk show host has stooped to a new low. This so-called Libertarian makes Rush Limbaugh seem like a true humanitarian with his rants concerning the Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans. While I support the First Amendment and everyone’s right to speak their minds some of this crap is just beyond the scope of dignity and is downright disrespectful. As if these people have not suffered enough with the trauma of going through a hurricane, being deserted by their government, unable to return home, and being labeled criminals by their relocated communities. Now they turn on the radio and hear this clown spewing his racist’s hate speak.

UPDATED: It turns out that I was completely wrong.
Here are some predictions before the polls close.
1. Clinton wins the beauty content in FL.
Okay, so HRC won. She received the same amount of ballots as Mike Gravel - zilch.
Given that no one else is on the ballot, this is not a difficult feat.
Okay, so everyone else was on the ballot, too, but HRC was the only one who made an effort and committed campaign resources there.
2. Romney. Romney will win this.
Wow, looks like the Crist coalition beat the Bush coalition.
More after the polls close.
More tomorrow.

Hi, everyone,
I hope you haven’t missed me too much. Over the next week, I plan to post a lot of the ideas that I’d been percolating while I grabbed what precious few hours of sleep came my way…Let’s just get NH out of the way. As soon as that wretched primary is over, I will […]

Hey,
As some of you know, I work in polling. With the Iowa Caucuses and New Hampshire Primary just around the corner, I have been swamped. I have not conceded any points left unanswered, but I have explained to those involved what my obligations are.
I will try and post as soon as I can, but I’m […]

I have unfortunately come to the frightening conclusion that no one in America really wants change. Oh yeah, we want change so long as it effects other people and not us. We want the Iraqis to change and adopt our policies, we want the Pakistanis to change, we want the Sudanese to change, we want the Right to change, we want the politicians to change, we want our spouses to change, we want our bosses to change, we want the media to change. We want everyone to change, but ourselves.

My first reaction upon reading this story in the LA Times about middle to upper class white suburbanites switching party identification to Democratic was largely characterised by content that is NSFW. [..]
